July 29, 2026, Construction Update

The SumCo staff will be on site Tuesday July 28 through Thursday July 30 monitoring streamflow at the site due to the predicted heavy rain.  Sandbags are available on site if needed to reinforce the current streambanks and contain flow within the restored stream channel, if necessary.  The project team will be monitoring site conditions closely to address any issues associated with this week’s rain event, should they arise. No additional excavation or sediment off-loading/transport is anticipated through Thursday due to weather conditions.
